  • Wagyu fat (optional) – or you can simply use vegetable oil
  • Garlic
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Black pepper (to taste)
  • 1/2 of onion
  • 1 egg
  • 1 plain bagel
  • 2 slices American cheese

Instructions

  • Prepare the sauce.
  • Dice the sliced beef into coarse pieces and use salt, pepper & garlic powder to season it. Then, use your hand or any equipment you have in your kitchen to form it into a patty.
  • Put 1 teaspoon of vegetable oil in a skillet and turn on the stove at medium heat.
  • Slice and put the onion into the skillet to sauté. Turn off the stove when the onion turns light brown.
  • Over medium-high heat, you melt the wagyu fat/ or vegetable oil in the pan. Place the steak patty in the pan to cook and season both sides with salt & pepper.
  • Beat an egg in a bowl, fry it, fold the egg once cooked (no need to flip the egg). In order to make the folded egg, you might need a rectangle pan to easily form the desired shape.
  • Toast the bagels and butter them.
  • Assemble the steak, egg & cheese Bagel in this order:
    • Bagel bottom half
    • Cheese
    • Steak
    • Fried onion
    • Folded egg
    • Cheese

    • Top bagel half.
