Snoop Dogg and Mick Jagger both seem to have good senses of humor, for all their fame.
Same with Henry Winkler. His Instagram is endearing.

I only know theatre celebrities, and they are universally affable. It's rare to find one who throws tude around.
On the Particularly Nice list I'd include the late Rebecca Luker, Liz Callaway, Nathan Lane, Bryan Batt, Donna Murphy, Maria Friedman, John Rubinstein, Brian Stokes Mitchell, Elaine Paige, and Judy Kaye.
Personally, I've had great times with Shirley MacLaine and Mandy Patinkin, though I know others have had a different experience.

Beyoncé reminds me of MJ in that you don’t hear anyone in the industry bash her. In fact she is almost universally loved. MJ is the only celeb I can think of that had that affect except he was more loved by the general public as well. Until you know what.

Beyoncé seems very dumb, especially when she starts talking. Yet she's smart enough to stay off of social media. She's not a recluse, but for a major celebrity, she seems pretty private.
"Universally loved" is a strong description. I have slightly positive feelings about Beyoncé. I'm sure there are people who are indifferent.

Catherine Keener and Spike Jonze came together to a shmoozy industry party I threw once. They were both lovely, chatty and friendly. Keener in particular seemed humble and down to earth. We talked for a long time. I'd never heard of restless leg syndrome before I met her, and it really came in handy a few years later when I had a spell of restless leg myself. I was able put a label to it to tell my doctor.

And I say that as someone who thinks he's fantastically talented. But affable? Nope. Nyet. Nunca.
OTOH, Brian Stokes Mitchell is as lovely as can be. Some late theatre greats who truly were affable: Rebecca Luker, Gavin Creel, Marin Mazzie, Chita Rivera.
In TV land, Regis Philbin was absolutely affable. Would run into him at the gym. Joy Behar is great, as are Mariska Hargitay and David Hyde Pierce.
From film: Bill Nighy was fantastic. Julianne Moore too. I've even had charming encounters with Frances McDormand, but I don't think everyone gets to see that side of her.

I don’t know much about Nathan Lane. He may be the kindest man in the world. He might be an asshole. I don’t know.
But, his ex sister-in-law (his brother’s ex-wife) was a mentor to my son. She told many stories about Lane’s love for and generosity to her daughter.
When the mentor died Nathan Lane was at the wake caring for his niece every step of the way.
In my eyes Nathan Lane is a good man.
